BCSS Library and Archive Information Services

To fulfil its obligation to preserve and disseminate information on the subject of cacti and other succulent plants, the BCSS maintains an extensive library and archive.

These can be consulted, and copies supplied, of a wide range of literature, indices, transparencies and data files, either by personal visit or requests for photocopies or digital files by email (or on CD if too large to send by email).

Reference books may be consulted by prior appointment with the Chief Librarian. Please address your request to:

As for all other libraries making copies available to the public, the BCSS is legally obliged to obtain a signed declaration and a small fee for each request. Details of how to do this are indicated on our Copy Request Form.
